Feasibility Study for a Sanitary Landfill for Tunis Metropolis, Tunisia



 

INFRASTRUKTUR & UMWELT, in a consortium with the companies IGIP and ICP has been assigned to elaborate a feasibility study for a new sanitary landfill for Tunis Metropolis.

 

The tasks of IU include the assessment of landfill sites, pre-treatment option, logistics and other conceptual aspects.

 

After approval of the suggested landfill site in October 2006 the feasibility study will be finalized until beginning of 2007. As a result of the concept phase a mechanical biological pre-treatment (MBT) is suggested prior to final disposal of the waste.
