RAINMAN-toolbox recommended on the German Climate Prevention Portal (Deutsches Klimavorsorgeportal KLiVO)

Since March 2021 the RAINMAN-toolbox has been recommended as a climate protection service by the German Climate Prevention Portal of the German government (Deutsches Klimavorsorgeportal KLiVO). KLiVO offers an overview of quality-tested climate prevention services, in which interested stakeholders can find out which services are suitable to support them individually in adapting to the consequences of climate change.

The RAINMAN-toolbox is a multilingual information platform which supports local and regional actors and citizens in dealing with heavy rain hazards. Within the framework of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE project RAINMAN from July 2017 to June 2020, ten partner institutions from six countries developed tools, methods and measures for dealing with heavy rain risks. Since June 2020, the RAINMAN toolbox has been publicly available at https://rainman-toolbox. eu/.

INFRASTRUKTUR und UMWELT supported the RAINMAN project on behalf of the lead partner Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) and the project partner Saxon State Ministry for Regional Development (SMR). They supported, coordinated and technically implemented the development of the RAINMAN-toolbox.
