“Climate Active Neighbourhoods” launches transnational activities towards creating financing schemes and activation tools

Within the INTERREG V B project CAN – Climate Active Neighbourhoods – 10 project partners from North West Europe work towards energy efficiency retrofits of underprivileged residential areas.

During the 2nd Working Group meeting several joint tasks and activities, like creating financing schemes to involve citizens and neighbourhoods or activation tools for behaviour change, have been launched. The meeting took place from October, 13th to October, 14th in Hastings and also offered the opportunity to visit the Ore, one of Hastings sites for the planned projects’ investments.

INFRASTRUKTUR & UMWELT Professor Böhm und Partner (IU) supports the project with an overall finance and project management as well as a content-wise coordination of the project’s tasks. Therefore, with supporting the preparation and coordination of the meeting, IU contributed in making the meeting a successful start of the new activities.
